Brantley Companies, team consists of a hand selected group of individuals who each have an enormous level of experience in design, development and implementation of commercial, multifamily and student residential communities and related facilities on school campuses. Each of our turnkey projects specifically respond to the needs of our individual clients, institutions and their students. Specifically, we recognize that campus facilities play an important role in the college experience and are significant components of marketing to prospective students, retention and progression of current students, and graduating a base of alumni that generously contribute back to the institution.
The Brantley Companies team is one of the largest developers, owners, and managers of commercial development and student housing in West Tennessee. Collectively, our team members have a development and construction portfolio of over $75 million dollars and over 60 years of experience in development, finance and construction.
We understand that every project we partner on is unique and each has varying objectives and goals, requiring individual analysis, project structuring, and design approach. To ensure success, we prefer to have the full involvement of our clients, students, and stakeholders from the onset of the development process in order to establish specific project goals and objectives that guide the team. Together we analyze the design challenges and through an established and proven process, determine the functional, spatial, and aesthetic requirements to determine project success.
From our experience with campus development, we know that these communities must be livable as well as architecturally appropriate and aesthetically pleasing, while still meeting specific needs, school criteria, desires, and budget constraints. Solving issues of specialized use, maintenance, security, and environmental sustainability for campus projects is part of our teams daily practice.
Our interest is to provide the entire financing, development and construction for ourprojects. The financing can be secured through a lease on the land and improvements, an assignment of rents and leases and a security agreement. The project owner will lease the land on which the project will be constructed to the borrower for a term commensurate with the financing. The project will be owned by the borrower and will revert back to the owner upon the full repayment of the debt.
